MATRYCS’s participation in European Sustainable Energy Week, September 2022, Brussels, Belgium
The 2022 edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) took place, on 26-30th of September, in Brussels. The EUSEW 2022 has been held under the theme 'Going green and digital for Europe's energy transition.
The MATRYCS project was represented by partners from Housing Europe (Joao Gonzales) and ICLEI (Marcelo Lampkowski), participating in EUSEW as an exhibitor at the dedicated Energy Fair, where it shared a stand with sister projects BuiltHub, BIGG and BEYOND.
The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe and comprises a series of activities aimed at building a secure energy future for Europe. It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs, EU project partners, researchers and consumers to promote initiatives to go green and digital for Europe's energy transition. EUSEW is organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.
The main topics of discussion throughout the conference included REPowerEU, the digitalisation and integration of energy systems, energy efficiency, renewables, consumers and a fair energy transition, decarbonisation policies and international cooperation.
