In Work Package 1 the responsibility is to ensure that all project activities are performed efficiently, in a coordinated and integrated manner, within schedule and budget and in a way that the high research, scientific, technological and stakeholders’ expectations are fully met.
Work Package 2 aim is to perform an as-is-analysis of existing services, tools and methodologies contributing to MATRYCS platform, as well as existing datasets across EU. The definition of user stories and requirements extracted in the context of pilot cases are included in this Work Package and will conclude to services specifications along with the regulatory framework and ensure compliance with data protection, IPR and ethical rules. Finally, the MATRYCS reference architecture will be developed.
Work Package 3 will implement the Data Services & Semantic Enrichment Layer (MATRYCS-GOVERNANCE) of the high-level architecture. In this line, it includes tasks related to the DLT & Smart contracts for B2B cross-stakeholder trusted off-chain data sharing and re-use, as well as the main components of this layer (data interoperability, data curation, anonymization, access policy and semantic enrichment, homogenizing data under a common data model to allow their efficient processing in upper layers, distributed query engine and reasoning engine.
Work Package 4 will implement the Big Data Management & AI Services Layer (MATRYCS-PROCESSING) of the high-level architecture, together with the MATRYCS Analytics Toolbox, providing a virtual workbench at PaaS level to external stakeholders (MATRYCS-ANALYTICS).
Work Package 5 will implement analytics building services to end users. The proposed services will be inspired by the Large-Scale Pilots considered in the project addressing a large variety of stakeholders of the building value chain. In the context of MATRYCS, there will be four main categories of services (MATRYCS-PERFORMANCE / DESIGN / POLICY / FUND) based on their expected impact.
Work Package 6 aims at the deployment, monitoring and verification of Large-Scale pilots’ implementation phase. It focuses also on training activities with the beneficiaries in order to understand the MATRYCS value. Finally, it will conduct an overall evaluation and impact assessment of MATRYCS ecosystem.
Work Package 7 main objectives are to define the scope of business and exploitation plan business models and pave the way for the market validation of the MATRYCS Modular Toolbox, by organizing targeted activities towards external stakeholders.
Work Package 8 includes all the dissemination and communication activities that will be conducted during the project’s lifecycle so as to ensure that project developments and results effectively reach the target audiences identified.
Work Package 9 objective is to ensure compliance with the 'ethics requirements' set out in this work package.
